A Case of Hyperkeratosis of the Nipple and Areola Aggravated during Pregnancy

Abstract
|

|
We report a case of hyperkeratosis of the nipple and areola occuring in 3 3year old woman. She did not have a history of endocrinopathy, hormonal therapy and other dermatoses, so this case seems to be the nevoid from by Levy-Franckel
classification.
Interestingly, however, the lesion which had developed before marriage suddenly aggravated during pregnancy. This may be a unique feature which has no been reported elsewhere. Histopatholoigic findings are compatible with previously reported
cases.
there was no response to topical steroid and retinoic acid treatment. (Kor J Dermatol 1994 ; 32(6) : 1111~1113)
